Lee Ann Eager on High Speed Rail
On Friday, Oct. 21, the Friends of the Madden Library present Lee Ann Eager speaking on high speed rail. As President and CEO of the Fresno County Economic Development Corporation, Eager’s responsibilities include oversight of business expansion, attraction and retention. Eager is also the legislative liaison with local, state and federal legislators on issues important to economic development including high speed rail.

The California High Speed Rail Project is the largest infrastructure project in the Central Valley and Fresno. In preparation for her organization’s role in assisting local businesses, farmers and residents affected by the High Speed Rail Project, Eager researched and toured similar international projects. She will share information on these projects as well as current local construction developments and the economic impact of the California project. Please join us to learn firsthand about how the project will affect the Central Valley's economic climate.
