The Larson Endowment is our newest one. Still in the active funding stage, it supports new acquisitions (in all formats, for all world's fairs) to the Donald G. Larson Collection on International Expositions and Fairs in the Special Collections Research Center. The collection is named for Don Larson, the original donor of the collection who started acquiring world's fair materials as a young boy after attending the 1939-40 Golden Gate International Exposition in San Francisco.
Contributions to the endowment have been made by many of Don Larson's friends; gifts are welcome from any donor who wants to support our world's fair collection, known internationally as one of the best world's fair collections, on par with other significant fair collections at the Smithsonian Library and the Beinecke Library at Yale University.
