Learn more about...

Access to the Library

As a publicly funded institution, our Library and most of its collections are available for use by the general public.

Community Borrowers Card

The Community Borrowers Card allows non-affiliated community members the ability to check out library materials and access the campus wireless network. The card does not enable remote access to the library’s electronic resources. Cards are discounted for alumni.

Exhibits and Events

The Library regularly hosts events and exhibits, many of which are open to the public. You can also visit our Events page to see what is taking place in the Library.

Library Tours

The Fresno State Library offers both self-guided and guided tours for school groups and other organizations.

Public Computers

The Library provides access to a small number of public computers. Use of public computers requires a guest pass, and is limited to two hours per day.

Off Campus Access to Resources

Community members and alumni do not have off campus access to any electronic resources. To use our electronic resources community and alumni must visit the Fresno State Library.

Teachers Borrower’s Card

TK-12 full time, certified public and private school teachers are eligible for a free Teachers Borrower’s Card.
