Access to the Library
As a publicly funded institution, our Library and most of its collections are available for use by the general public. Find out where to park.
Community Borrowers Card
The Community Borrowers Card allows non-affiliated community members the ability to check out library materials and access the campus wireless network. The card does not enable remote access to the library’s electronic resources. Cards are discounted for alumni.
Exhibits and Events
The Library regularly hosts events and exhibits, many of which are open to the public. You can also visit the Campus Events page to see what is taking place in the Library building.
Library Tours
The Fresno State Library offers both self-guided and guided tours for school groups and other organizations.
Off-Campus Access to Resources
Community members and alumni do not have off campus access to any electronic resources. To use our electronic resources community and alumni must visit the Fresno State Library.
Public Computers
The Library provides access to a small number of public computers. Use of public computers requires a guest pass, and is limited to two hours per day.
Teachers Borrower’s Card
TK-12 full time, certified public and private school teachers are eligible for a free Teachers Borrower’s Card.
