As a publicly funded institution, the Henry Madden Library and most of its collections are available for use by the general public.
The Community Borrowers Card allows non-affiliated community members the ability to check out library materials and access the campus wireless network. The card does not enable remote access to the library’s electronic resources. Cards are discounted for alumni.
The Henry Madden Library offers both self-guided and guided tours for school groups and other organizations.
The Library provides access to a small number of public computers. Use of public computers requires a guest pass, and is limited to two hours per day.
Community members and alumni do not have off campus access to any electronic resources. To use our electronic resources community and alumni must visit the Henry Madden Library.
TK-12 full time, certified public and private school teachers are eligible for a free Teachers Borrower’s Card.
